the location, just a short walk from the town center, was ideal for exploring the picturesque streets lined with historic buildings and churches. the bedroom was cozy and comfortable, and we appreciated the small garden where we could relax after a day of sightseeing. The host's attention to detail was evident throughout the property, from the beautifully decorated interior to the thoughtful welcome pack of local products. the inclusion of a wood burning stove and a selection of logs made for cozy evenings in front of the fire. While the cottage was well-equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and a washing machine, it still retained its charming character. the off-site car park was convenient for those traveling by car, and the nearby golf course provided additional leisure options. This cottage offers a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and charm, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway in Thirsk.
